CDTI grant for MeteoFlight project

The following project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the multi-regional operational program of Spain 2014-2020.

Development of a specific weather forecast system for flights

The project began in September 2018 and will end in January 2020. The objective of the project is to develop a specific weather forecast system for flights, which works based on the creation of a worldwide App that contains specific weather forecasts for a flight, so that any pilot or flight dispatcher can generate and consult said prediction prior to or during the flight and that such information is generated based on a flight plan.

The project is currently very advanced. The project has been carried out at the facilities of Alpred, S.L. in Almendricos (Murcia), with an allocated budget of € 249,211
